We live in Harrah, Ok about 20 minutes east of downtown Oklahoma City. Our dogs have plenty of room to run and play (about 3 acres). Our dogs truly are our pets. We spend a great deal of time with our dogs and try to find the best home possible for our puppies. We both work at the local school which allows for us to be home with our dogs a great deal of the time. On this page you will find information about us, our dogs, our breeding program and our breeding policy. We are always updating this page with new information.
We raise both blue, fawn and brindle great danes and english mastiffs. Our current breeding females are a 4 year old fawn english mastiff (2 litter), a 3 year old fawn female great dane (1 litter), a 3 year old blue (2 litters), and a 2 year old brindle mastiff (1 litter) . Our upcoming ladies are a 20 month old blue female dane, a 14 month old fawn female, a 14 wk old blue dane female and our imported girl from Russia, blue female Nadya. We now have a 15 month old brindle male Great Dane and our long waited imported European blue male Luka (6 1/2 months). We have a 7 year old yellow lab (neutered) and a 4 year old neutered male blue great dane.
We do not breed our females until they are close to or past their 2nd birthday and only if they are in excellent health. Our females ONLY have 1 litter a year. Once our girls are done having puppies they are spayed and live out their lives with us. WE DO NOT SALE OUR FEMALES IF THEY CAN NOT HAVE PUPPIES OR ONCE THEY ARE DONE HAVING PUPPIES. OUR DOGS ARE WITH US FOR LIFE.
We offer lifetime support to any puppy we sale and will gladly take any of our puppies back no matter the age or reason. We will find them a good home or they will live out their life with us. All puppies are sold under a contract. If you buy a puppy with full registration it is up to you if you decide to breed your dog. If you buy a puppy with limited registration you will be required to spay/neuter the puppy by 1 year of age. A dog sold with limited registration cannot produce registered puppies. Any puppy bought from us can not for any reason be registered with any other club besides AKC without our written permission.
We breed for the love of the breed of great danes and mastiffs. We strive to meet AKC breed standard in both breeds. We breed for health and temperment, sound mind and body. We do not cross breed our danes and mastiffs (and yes we have people looking for the cross all the time). We belive in only breeding pure bred dogs. We strive for color purity in our danes and to produce stunning coloring in our mastiffs. We do not breed to produce the "largest" dogs out there. Breeding great danes and mastiffs to be well above breed standarded lowers the lifespan of the dogs, we strive to breed as close to breed standard as we can get. These are ex-large dogs I do not need to breed to make them larger. We strive to improve our bloodline one litter at a time. We are always trying to improve our breeding program. We currently have our foundation line for our fawn/brindle line. Roman, Autumn and Vanity will be our foundation breeding lines. We are currently working to improve our blue lines. We have our foundation male Luka & Gracie our foundation bitch along with our newest additional a 14 wk old blue female Daisy and our soon to be imported blue girl Nadya from Russia. We have just add a new blue girl Daisy to our breeding program, she is just a baby but we have high hopes for her. Our newest girl will be Nadya, who will arrive from Russia sometime in late April. Nadya comes from champion euro lines and we have high hopes for her and Luka. We are developing a wonderful mastiff line with Baliegh and her daughter Vegas, they are the foundation bitches of our mastiff line. You will find over the next few years that we will be improving our bloodlines from our foundation lines. We feel that you can not build a line by replacing your breeding dogs with new lines after they are done breeding. If you are breeding to improve your lines you should be keeping some of your own lines and adding fresh lines to improve your stock as needed not starting over with new dogs. We are planning on keeping a female mastiff from Baleigh's next litter.
We will be updating this section over the next few months. This section in about our breeding policy. We love both the American and Euro danes. Our own personal preference is for a heavier built dog. We are working hard to improve our bloodlines. We feel that there are great dogs both here in the USA and Europe. We do not feel that 100% Euro is the best but want to combine both lines to improve our own personal breeding stock. We work very hard to produce dogs that meet AKC standard.
We are often asked how we determine the price of our dogs. We factor in both the pedigree and overall look of the puppy. Price is not set until the puppies are born but we can give you a price range that they will be in. Price is also determined by the amount of white on a puppy. We are working hard to reduce the amount of white produced in our puppies but white can not be completely deleted. Puppies with less white are worth more than those with lots of white. Puppies that carry champion or european bloodlines are going to worth more than those who do not. Color purity is also important. We try very hard not to over price our puppies. We are not breeding to make money but to improve the breeds we love. Please keep in mind that we put careful thought into the price of our dogs. We decide the price of our dogs and we will decide if a puppy is offered on full or limited registration. We are very careful who we place our puppies with and truly want to find them good, loving forever homes.
We love to talk about our dogs and to show them off. We welcome you to call us with any questions you have about our dogs or the breed. We welcome you to come out and visit us, and our dogs. (even if we do not have any puppies at the time).
